Yes, we've been refinishing doors for years.  I usually do the major stripping and Stephen does the detail work, including patching with mahogany veneer where needed, staining, and final finish.  Here is a good example of two of the five sliding pantry doors in the kitchen - one finished and the other waiting to be restored. 
 At some point almost all of the mahogany doors and trim in the house had been painted white.  Extremely boring!  We still have lots of work to do.  The kitchen alone has five sliding pantry doors, one closet door, two pocket doors, and one regular hinged door, along with all the trim.  We decided not to do the cabinet doors simply because we would like to finish before we are dead!
