In spite of the late start and cooler weather, the summer plants are doing just fine.
The morning glory seeds we brought from Chicago still produce vines and flowers:
The canna which wintered well down in the shop are just starting to bloom:
The red begonias are a bit delicate but flowering just the same:
And the old crepe myrtle, which only gets afternoon sun so ends up blooming later than most is going to be full again this year:
