Wednesday May 11, 2016 "Superstition" iris

Stephen picked this iris out last year because he liked the deep, dark look.  It is called Superstition, with dark purple to black ruffled falls, dark purple-maroon standards, and a deep blueish purple beard.  
Superstition iris bud ready to open. It is almost black.
