Planted last year, Role Model iris has bloomed for the first time. Not fully opened yet, you can see the nicely ruffled falls with smokey rose coloring and a bright tangerine beard just waiting to shock the world. It has a deliciously faint fragrance.
I'm anxious to see it fully opened.
Superstition iris is also starting to open. We've had this iris for several years and has been a dependable bloomer. Here you can see the ruffled purple falls and the lighter purple beard.
