Friday April 6, 2018 D.C. and the National Gallary

We went early to the National Portrait Gallery but it turned out that it opened much later.  So we went back to the National Gallery of Art.

Walter and Pan of Rohallion (1889-1890) by Frederick William MacMonnies, gilded bronze.

Appropriately, Stephen posing in from of an 1880 model of The Thinker (Le Penseur), by Rodin, cast in 1901.
