After touring Magnolia Plantation we drove to our next stop for the evening.
Stephen made the reservations for this trip, so I was unaware of what to expect.
The Inn at Middleton Place, just west of Charleston on the Ashley River, was our next stop for the evening.
After driving past the stables where people board their equestrian horses, you come to an unassuming entrance to your room. Stephen pushed me up the stairs, opened the door, and this is what I saw:
Each room also comes with a wood burning fireplace, with all the wood provided by the Inn.
It also had a deep soak tub which easily accommodates two:
